Office Visit with a weighted feeding

Service Description

An office visit includes an assessment of how your baby is breastfeeding. We also work on bottle feeding, pumping and any concerns or skills you are struggling with or would like to improve. We will improve your comfort and learn to recognize milk transfer along with better positioning and better latching. An office visit will include a weighted feeding for a snapshot of what your baby is eating during a typical breastfeeding. If you want to make sure your baby is breastfeeding well please schedule an appointment. Office visits are covered by Aetna and Humana insurance and I will bill for you and baby. Paperwork for reimbursement is provided for all other insurance. As an RN, IBCLC with over 30 years of experience caring for babies, I can help you with evidence based information and hands on skills development/best practices for breastfeeding your baby. You will also receive a customized care plan and ongoing support for your breastfeeding journey.
