Services

 Home Consultations

An initial consultation will include a thorough history and assessment of mom and baby that is relevant to breastfeeding.  Your baby will be weighed before and after breastfeeding to determine intake at the breast. After observing a breastfeeding, we will formulate a plan of care together.  Our goal will be to provide adequate calories for your child while protecting your milk supply.  This information will be shared with your pediatrician and your physician if you are experiencing any complications and require follow up with your doctor.

Learning to breastfeed comfortably at home where you feed your baby everyday will enhance your breastfeeding experience for you and your child. Breastfeeding involves skill, technique,  knowledge, and confidence.  As an IBCLC, I will provide you with the skill set and a feeding plan for you to achieve your breastfeeding goals.
