Service Description

Accessible Breastfeeding Care Classes are to help women afford hands on help with improving breastfeeding and learning best practices. If your baby recently had tongue or lip tie surgery, you can learn your post op care and have a feeding evaluation post procedure. Come with your questions and concerns to a small group class with hands on help with positioning, latching, evidence based education to help you reach your breastfeeding goals. As a pediatric RN since 1991 and an IBCLC, I can help you understand how breastfeeding works, best practices and improve your positioning/latch so it becomes a better experience for you and your baby. This class is limited to two mothers/two babies and will enable you to meet other women, learn from each other and receive help with improving your breastfeeding journey. Each mother will have time to ask her questions and we can learn from each other and help each other. Only women and their babies are allowed in the class. Bring your water, a blanket for your baby and your questions and concerns.
